Thank you for your interest in Thomson!  We have a great school community and offer a challenging and rigorous academic program.  

Families interested in enrolling a child in PS/PK must meet the eligibility requirement for age and complete an on-line application at MySchoolDC.org.  PS/PK attendance is not compulsory in DC, and DCPS does not guarantee seats in schools for all students.  All students, in-bound or out-of-bound, must enter the lottery to obtain a seat at Thomson.  

For K-5th grade, families that are in-boundary may choose to send their child to Thomson at any time during the school year.  In-boundary students are guaranteed placement in K-5th grade.  A child must be 5 years old on or before September 30th of the current school year to enter Kindergarten.
