Thomson’s after school program allows students to participate in academic and extracurricular activities, and develop many new hobbies, skills, and interests. Thomson is a DC Public Schools After school site and also offers full time programming through the non-profit organization DC SCORES. After school programs run from 3:30 to 5:45 pm, and a snack is given to all students before the program begins. All programs include academic enrichment with homework help and many activities involving science, art, technology, cultural awareness, sports, and poetry. Our after school coordinator is Cristina Ortez.
